Rebrand PDF

Well ... you aleady have the PDF-Functions, but I´d prefear to use my own PDF-Program.

It would be nice to have a module, that just puts in the affiliate-ID in the document, which is done with external software.

The process should be:

- Built a PDF with external software and put in a Variable for each Ref-Link, let´s say the variable is [xxxxxx], so each link in the pdf should look like this: www.affiliatedomain.com?aid=[xxxxxx].

- Now you upload the pdf like you upload banners. You define the campaign and so on.

- When the Affiliate later downloads the pdf, it should just insert the correct Affiliate-ID from the logged Affiliate. So the PDF, hat the affiliate can download, will be marked as his pdf and every klick on the pdf-links will belong to the Affiliate.

The great thing: I can stay with my own PDF-Program, because with that functionality I can use every PDF-Program. ;-)

Best wishes, Ju lian!

just like Julian Wolf I prefer to use my own mad pdf's and then imbed the info.

1)

I would like to give affiliates more options next to there affiliate id to imbed in the pdf's. This way, they are more motivated to spread the pfd's around.

I would like to automatically imbed the Affiliate: FullName, Affiliate Website (there own website) and Affiliate ID

Just like Julian wrote it can be done with tags like viral pdf uses.

example
-8-AffiliateId-8-
-8-AffiliateFullName-8-
-8-AffiliateWebsite-8-

2)

I also would like to see this feature for these pdf's. It would be great if an affiliate sends a visitor and directly or in the feature the visitor can get (free) pdf.'s When this customer get the pdf PAP tracks if there is an affiliateID on the customers computer. If PAP finds the informations it knows witch affiliate sents this customer and it automatically imbeds the Affiliate information in the pdf. So the customer can download the pdf and PAP automatically inserts de information between the tags:

example
-8-AffiliateId-8-
-8-AffiliateFullName-8-
-8-AffiliateWebsite-8-

Even if the visitor gets the pdf much later the details will be imbedded. Also if the visitor gets more pdf's the affiliate detals will be imbedded. This will highly motivate affiliate to send a lot of traffic.

ALso the affiliate doesn't have to download himself and spread the pdf's. They simply send the visitor. The visitor also gets the latest version of the pdf's and nog a version the affiliate downloaded month or years ago.

So these tags options would be great:

-8-AffiliateId-8-
-8-AffiliateFullName-8-
-8-AffiliateWebsite-8-

3)

What's also very important is the following. This feature should be able to encrypt or work with encrypted pdf's. This means that after adding the affilate details, the pdf should be encrypted against, copy of the content or adding to the pdf. This can be done by viralpdf (silver edition) and that is very important. Ther are a lot of internetmarketers who use tools like PDF stamper to stamp extra infomation on pfd's. With encryption this is tackled.

I will also ad these addon features seperately as a seggested feature next to Julians comment. Great Julian you also prefer to use your own pdf's.

EXTRA:
Maybey you already know this. To use these options, all characters need to be imbedded in the pdf before branding with te affiliate details. If you need more information about this, pleas let me know and give a comment.

Yesterday I added a comment, but I made a few mistakes. I also gave more info

just like Julian Wolf suggested in the feature of PDF manipulator, I prefer to use my own made pdf's and then imbed the info.

1)

I would like to give affiliates more options next to their affiliate id to imbed in the pdf's. This way, they are more motivated to spread the pfd's around.

-8-AffiliateWebsite-8-

It maybe possible to use the tags of the PAP script, just like the once we can use to setup emails etcetera in pap.

2)

I also would like to see this feature for these pdf's. It would be great if an affiliate sends a visitor and directly or in the future the visitor can get (free) pdf.'s When this customer gets the pdf PAP tracks if there is an affiliateID who created this visitor. If PAP finds the information it knows witch affiliate sends this customer and it automatically imbeds the Affiliate information in the pdf. So the customer can download the pdf and PAP automatically inserts de information between the tags:

-8-AffiliateId-8-
-8-AffiliateFullName-8-

It maybe possible to use the tags of the PAP script, just like the once we can use to setup emails etcetera in pap.

Even if the visitor gets the pdf much later the details will be imbedded. Also if the visitor gets more pdf's now or in the furure the affiliate details will be imbedded. This will highly motivate affiliates to send a lot of traffic.

Also, the affiliate doesn't need to download himself and spread the pdf's. They simply send the visitor. The visitor also gets the latest version of the pdf's and not a version the affiliate downloaded month or years ago.

-8-AffiliateId-8-

What's also very important is the following. This feature should be able to encrypt or work with encrypted pdf's. This can be done by viralpdf (silver edition) and that is very important. There are a lot of internet marketers who use tools like PDF stamper to stamp extra information on pfd's. With encryption this is tackled.

EXTRA:
Maybe you already know this. To use these options, all characters need to be imbedded in the pdf before branding with te affiliate details. These are the characters the merchant needs to ad to the pdf. He can do this at the end of the pdf and make the characters white so the reader can't see this.

abcdeëöüïäfghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLNOPQRSTUVWXYZ.:,;-_!"'#+~*@§$%&/\´`^°|μ()=?[]1234567890
abcdeëöüïäfghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ.:,;-_!"'#+~*@§$%&/\´`^°|μ()=?[]1234567890
abcdeëöüïäfghijklmnopqrstuvzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ.:,;-_!"'#+~*@§$%&/\´`^°|μ()=?[]1234567890

Merchants need to ad this, because when branding the pdf with new information the characters that need to be imbedded in the pdf. Adobe does this to save space in the pdf. Only the characters that are already imbedded can be added. With normal characters like. Abcde etcetera their isn't a problem. The problem starts with characters like ë,ö,ü etcetera.

You probably knew this, but I just thought I let you know.

With these PDF feature build in PAP Affiliates and Merchants are much more flexible. This feature doesn't exist any ware and it would be great for pap if it could do all of this. Especially the feature of downloading premade pdf's and automatically imbedding the affiliate details if there is an affiliate tracked.

So these tags options would be great:

-8-AffiliateId-8-
-8-AffiliateFullName-8-
-8-AffiliateWebsite-8- (this is the own website of the affiliate, and this will motivate extra for the affiliate because he also gets more traffic).

It maybe possible to use the tags of the PAP script, just like the once we can use to setup emails etcetera in pap.

This would be a great feature to have.

It would be really useful for creating handouts & flyers for users to hand out locally / use offline.
