Commissions on Transactions created ( CPM )

Hi,

CPM commissions can be set to as many tiers as you wish.
But I don't understand what it has to do with referral commissions. Can you explain?
CPM commission is a commission for 1000 impressions.

Exactly what has CPM go to do with referrals

I pay for example $2.50 for 1000 impressions.

Parent A gets nothing is affiliate B reaches 1000 impressions

I want to give Parent A 5% of $2.50 = $0.0125 but that cant be done

Of course it can be done. Go to Campaigns -> Edit -> Commissions settings -> CPM -> Edit.
There you can check "Support multi tier commissions" and add as many tiers as you wish using "add tier" button.

If it does not work on your system it can be some specific bug as it works ok on my PAP 4.1.0.1. If you won't be able to setup multi tier CPM commission please contact our support and we will solve it this way. I have CPM ticked only

..and Maximum supported commission levels, set to 3

Parent A, B & C etc...

For example
Parent A referred affiliate B

Affiliate B places his code on a webpage and receives 1000 impressions, which generates a Transaction to the amount of the Campaign setting, example : 2.50dollars

Home > Tools > Settings Commissions if I tic 'per referral' and enter 5% Referral commission and leave box 2 tier and 3 tire empty, Parent A gets 5% on signups , not on transactions generated by affiliate B.

Basically I was told CPM cant be used to give parent affiliates referral commission ?

Please post instructions on this.

I thought we are talking about Post Affiliate Pro 4, but it seems that we are not. Which product do you use?

PAP version 3.1.6 purchased about a month ago on the grounds that I could do this, so its a big disappointment that I cant, and it appears I'm not entitled to an upgrade to 4, so if this cant be scripted or whatever I will have to seek out a new program that will , the pap demo panel is misleading it should have ( NOT for CPM) where appropriate, like beside 'per referral'

So is that it ? nothing can be done

Does PAP 4 100% do what I need ?

You should be able to upgrade to latest version of PAP4 without any extra charge if you ordered it just month ago

According to a forum post I read somewhere (cant find it right now) I cant upgrade. Where can I find information on free upgrade, discounted upgrade or any upgrade info ?

If you ordered just PAP3 version for $99 without option of upgrades to PAP4, than you are right, you will not be able to upgrade. I thought you ordered pro license with upgrade option, but in meantime you installed just PAP3.

Only what I can offer you is, that if you will buy PAP4 license and send me your new and old order number to support@qualityunit.com, I can make refund of your older order. Please write in email also link to this post, so I will remeber you.

If it is technically possible what you need, will answer during business day our developers. I'm not so skilled in technical questions.
