Central Order-Module
Central Order-Module
4 years ago submited by Julian Wolf
Hi again,
everybody, who works with more then one shop/website will face the problem: How to combine two or more "ordering-systems".
I would love to see some kind of "shop-connector-module". A Module, which combines some of the most popular shops/communities with PAP4 in bouth (!) Directions.
An example:
I have an xtc-shop on the one site, I have another site which handeles Event-Registrations. The event-registrations are only by a simple online-form, the xtc-shop is the complete shop, and bouth work in the same PAP3-Affiliate-Network.
When there would be a way, that pap4 "Produces" a new order in xtc each time an event-registration comes in, that would be great.
Well, sure, this is far beyond the features of an affiliate-network. On the other hand: It is surely a very wanted feature and PAP4 would be the ideal place: There really all orders should come togehter.
When PAP4 (the module) can handele "orders" in the most popular shops like XTC, OSC, Magento, Virtuemart, then I could define the one shop as the "master-shop" and for every transaction (Lead) in PAP4 I could see an order in the Master-Shop.
All four shops are GPL, so even when somebody doesn´t use the shops, he could use this system vor "getting togehter" all data. It would solve the problem of writing an invoice for a singe paypal-organized download from PMP, it could handele simple (but charged) community-sign-ins and so on.
Really: It´s not the Job of PAP4 to do that. But I see a chance that PAP4 (a module) can solve that. So this also could bring you a whole bunch of new customers, who are primarily interested in just having a "central order-overview" without the affiliate-net. ;-)
Best wishes, Juilan!
After sale plugin

In current PAP4 we have plugin named ActionsAfterSignup.
In similar way could be created plugin called e.g. ActionsAfterSale.
In such plugin could be possible to write code, which will register sale into multiple applications by calling urls from them or inserting data directly to other databases.
It is just rough idea, but maybe something like this will do the job you need.
