Hey, an easy Idea, but it fits perfectly. Have you ever thought about a simple "Advertisement-Module"?
I mean like the "Ad Manager Pro" or "OpenX". Just Ad-Sharing, Ad-Publishing and Ad-Booking. You have nearly the complete framework. You have all kinds of statistics. Putting this into a module and de-activating all the affiliate-functions, making some "impression"- and "click"-payments instad of affiliate-commissions, could make a real great advertisement-system out of PAP4.
The greatest thing about that would be an "easy entry". When somebody only wants to offer a little publishing-place in the way this is done in Ad-Management, then he signs in, defines his places, gets the code, puts it in, and that´s it. When somebody wants to "buy" an advertisement (that is the part that must be done) he also can just logg in and then "buy impressions" or "buy clicks".
Easy to "upgrade" him later as an Affiliate. This also brings the network-version up, because when he is a "advertiser" for ads, when he is upgrading to be in the whole affiliate-system, then he will get a merchant.
hey, damned, that is the greatest Idea to force the PAN-Version. Users can simply sign in as "Advertisers" and do nothing more than paying for an Ad. This is easy and simple. And then, later, they can be upgradet step gy step. First they pay for the impressions or the leads. This is nothing more then "paied Advertisement".
When they "upgrade" to "pay per sale" they are already in the PAN-System. Then they can add other banners. And so on. Step by step.

We can implement this as plugin
Do you have idea how it could work exactly ?
It would be great, if we will define very easy and simple work flow for merchant and also for affiliate, which we can later extend if there will be demand for features.
My suggestion:
- affiliate will be able to manage his advertisements (e.g. text, banner, banner rotator or something similar)
- affiliate will buy credit from merchant (direct order or not spent commissions could be used)
- merchant will need to approve it before it will be visible for other affiliates
- credit for advertisement will be charged per click or per impression

Hi Victor,
if you like have a look ad OPEN-AD and AD-Manager Pro.
My thought is very easy: You have nearly all functionality to use PAP also as an advertisement-system. So it could be a new product with nearly no effort, that can bring money in.
Also it is a nice Add-On for existing customers, if they for example want to sell ad-spaces or things like that. There can be a lot of playfull work.
Hiere some of the main features, that will be needet:
- Users can work as "advertisers" and as "publishers", beside the fact that they can work as "affiliates". For my opinion a user should be able to choose and also to work in all three roles if he wants.
- A publisher is somebody, who offers places for ads. He logs in, defines his "ad-place" with a name and the size of the ads and so on. Then he gets a script that he puts on his site on the space and then this script loads the ads from PAP and puts it in there. The publisher defines in his place also the money he wants to have: PPI or PPL, a monthly flatrate and so on.
- An advertiser is somebody, who buys places where he wants to see his ads. He can browse through the offered ad-spaces, see the prices and choose which places he wants to have. Then he loads up his banners, pays the money and his ads will be shown on the websites.
The interesting thing is, that this combines the functions "affiliate" and "advertisement". You have most of the marketing-tools, you have all the needet statistics and also the payment. This could "bring in" users who are not yet connected to "affiliate-marketing", but they want to simply work with banners, share advertisements and things like that. I think there are many of those webmasters outside: They think, affiliate-marketing is too complex. This module would mostly be a very easy "entry" to pap for my opinion, using the same framework for the module, selling it let´s say for 49 Dollars without the affiliate-functions. Good price, great software, good entry. And when they work with this ad-system, they idea of also using affiliate-systems is very close, and in this phase it would make no sense for them to change to a competitor. ;-)

All Ad Server Scripts have simple affiliate system.Why PAP haven't Ad Server System for affiliates.

I need exactly this module too.
Because My Advertising system different place,advertising payment and credit system different place and affiliate system different place in my sites.its not suitable.
Its hard to explain to my affiliates why they must have to a lot of account for advertising,payment and becoming affiliate.
My customers able to make commissions from our products and services.But they wants to spend their commissions via advertising in my sites or portals.
Our affiliates wants to sell their commissions in our sites via advertising.smilar adwords.
And my advertisers able to make commissions from ads payments.But they must open a affiliate account too.
I build a credit system.But tranfering credits from PAP to credits system manual and then payments for ads from credit system manual too.Each system (PAP,Credit,Ads Payment) need separate account.its hard work for me, for affiliates and for advertisers
I tried OPENX, Ad Manager Pro, SmartPPC, In-Link scripts..But i cant solve a lot of account problem beetwen PAP.
Each system need min two account .is it possible single account system ,
is it possible Post Ads Pro - PAPw3 :)
I hope Advertisement module is All In One solution.
it would be revolution for affiliate scripts.Also Ads servers too.
